The DIY Beeswax Wrap Making Kit is ideal for those who would like make their own professional-quality beeswax wraps using the fabric of their choice. Simply choose your own fabrics, cut your preferred wrap sizes and follow the easy step-by-step instructions (included) to make your own professional-quality beeswax wraps at home.

The DIY Beeswax Wrap Making Kit is also a wonderful ’green’ gift for the eco-conscious people in your life, or involve your own little eco-warriors in the wrap making process – showing them a way to a plastic-free future. 

All Love the Earth DIY Beeswax Wrap Making Kits are packaged and posted plastic-free (as they should be!). We offer eco-gift wrapping too, making this one of the easiest and earth-friendly gift choices around.

Each kit also comes with a pre-made beeswax wrap (ready to use), using the same unique ingredient blend as the block provided in the kit, so you'll have something to compare your own efforts to. 

The Love the Earth special-blend 100g block will cover approximately 1/2 metre of fabric, or make approx one of each of the following sizes (the same as our 4-pack kitchen starter kits):

XL (40cmx40cm)
LGE (32cmx32cm)
MED (25cmx25)
SM (18cm x 18cm)

Or choose your own sizes depending on what you will use them for the most.


A small pre-made beeswax wrap Using the same unique ingredient blend as the DIY block, the wrap is ready to use and the perfect size for covering cut veggies, snacks for the lunchbox, and keeping half an avocado fresh.

100gm special blend block Our special blend of Organic Australian Beeswax, Organic Coconut Oil, Australian Jojoba Oil and Pine Rosin* to produce professional wraps that have the right amount of long-lasting stickiness and pliability, ensuring your food can breathe whilst staying fresh.

Detailed step-by-step instructions Easy to follow double-boiler method instructions, resulting in less waste and professional quality wraps with an even coating.

CAUTION: This is an activity that needs Adult supervision at all times as it involves the use of the oven ands stove top and is *not suitable for those with a pine allergy.


  • Cover leftovers in the fridge. 
  • Wrap cut vegetables or fruit.
  • Make pockets for loose leaf greens.
  • Wrap sandwiches and snacks for a waste-free lunchbox.
  • Cover platters of food in preparation for the guests to arrive.
  • Also useful for travel kits taking up less room: cover a bar of soap, wrap your toothbrush and paste, wrap cotton tips and squares.


Your wraps will last up to 12 months depending on frequency of use and proper care. Simply wipe with a clean damp cloth or gently hand wash in cold water and air dry.


If your wraps start to look tired, pop them on a lined oven tray in a 100degC oven for a few minutes. This will redistribute the wax and make them look new again. When they are outworn, you can re-wax them using our DIY kit and start their life all over again. Or, simply cut them up and place them in your compost to become one with mother earth again.
